Strung with steel and silk strings, so sounds heavenly, and would be great with classical strings, I suspect, as well. Weighs about 2 pounds, so truly light as a feather. One tuner is bent and shown for reference, but works fine and holds tune superbly. However, it's probably not a collectors item, other than being a survivor for more than 120 years. Smaller than the case, so that was added later and would fit a size 0 guitar perfectly. Specs: 1-7/8ths bone nut for fingerstyle enthusiasts. Good frets and fretboard, with little wear. My history search shows it to be a Lyon & Healy brand, which I've always found to be great guitars. The woods appear to be spruce (Adirondack?) top, and mahogany or painted rosewood or cherry (can't tell?) on the back and sides. I'm selling a few guitars due to a recent surgery, which makes me unable to play anything but slide, so I'm parting with a few treasures. The artwork was likely added by somebody in the 1960s given the style, but it's not a decal. A true Martin size 1 or size 2 guitar from the era, made of all solid woods. This one is extremely playable, with repairs made to cracks, with remarkable tone and projection for its size. Offered for auction and starting at $100, the value of the case alone, is this marvelous Arion guitar, a Lyon & Healy brand, much like an old Washburn or Martin from the 19th century.
